Fall Wedding

A few weeks ago we traveled to Charlotte to go to the Meg & Scotts wedding. But before we let the beautiful bride get married I had a little celebration for her at my house with some of her best girlfriends. We all had fun catching up and celebrating the bride to be. Here a few pics from the night.

The wedding had been a long time coming and I was so glad to be a part of their special day. Everything was BEAUTIFUL, down to the last detail. The bride looked gorgeous!! We had a great time and I am so excited for the happy couple to their new life together.

Chugging Along

A few more weeks have come and gone and it is hard to believe that I only have about 8.5 weeks left. Time is really flying by. I have been feeling good but starting to feel the effects of my ever growing belly. I am getting winded very easily and can't work out as hard as I used to. I am also starting to get a bit uncomfortable but I guess this is all to be expected.

29 weeks

My sister came home to visit last weekend so it was nice to spend some time with her and for her to see me. I had not seen her since July so there was a lot of progress to talk about. I will see her again in a few weeks and I am sure I will be much bigger. This past weekend we went to Charlotte to our dear friends Scott & Meghans wedding. It was a long trip but so fun to be a part of their special day. Next weekend we are headed to PSU for our last game of the season. I would love to go to more but I think this will be it. Then Mike and I need to work on setting up the babies room and all the left over house projects we haven't had a chance finish. Because before you know it December and baby will be here.

Here are a few pics of me and Adriana being silly.

Football is Here!!

Yeah for football season and everything that comes along with it! I couldn't be more excited!! Mike and I (and Louie) started the season off right by heading up to PSU with one our bestest friends Ashley. I don't think I need to talk about my Penn State obsession........so I am sure you can all imagine how excited I was to be back up at school. The weather was threatening to be a bad weekend but it turned out to be a beautiful day. It was filled with good food, great friends, family, and of course football. PSU did not do so well that day and we lost the game but we still had a great time. We will be headed back up in a couple weeks for one last game of the season before bambino gets here. I knew he/she already loves football because he/she was moving the entire game and cheering right along with us.

Me and Ashley by the stadium waiting for the band to come by. The second picture is all the people already in the stadium watching the band march in.

Lots of friends were up for this game so it was nice to catch up with a few.

Ashleys family was kind enough to invite my family to the game, so mom and dad were pumped to be up in Happy Valley as well. Dad was having serious conversations with Joe Pa.

And of course I couldn't leave without a good belly pic. Here I am with my favorite Lion!

Special thanks to the Dunks for a great time!

Labor Day

Hard to believe summer is over....but it does bring a smile to my face that fall is around the corner. And even crazier that Mike and I have been married for 4 years!! We had a very nice weekend with friends and family and spent it on the boat in the inner harbor in Baltimore. There was a grand prix race this weekend so we thought it would be fun to go and check it out. The weather was perfect and a good time had by all.

The first day we walked around the city and saw a few of the early races going on. Here are a couple pics from day one.

Louie doing what he does best...giving kisses

Big Belly at 27 weeks!

Early morning view of the harbor.

Race day was hot and humid but it was still fun. I tried to dress as cool as possible. We did a ton of walking and wore me out for the day but it was cool to be at the race.

All in all it was a great weekend and a good end to the summer. That was our last boat trip since we will be busy this fall with weddings, psu games, and baby preparation. So bring on fall and football.

26 weeks

Another week has flow by. I am still feeling good and getting bigger! In a couple weeks I will start going to the doctor 2x a week. So crazy that I am beginning my third trimester. Mike and I have gone to look at day care centers and we got the call we have been waiting for to tell us that there is an opening at the center we liked. So baby Nardini is all set come next year. Crazy that places have waiting lists for April of 2012!

We are off to PSU this weekend to officially kick off the season. I am super excited to be back up at school and at a game. This will be bambinos first (but for sure not the last) PSU experience. Can't wait to tailgate with everyone. I am sure I will have tons of pictures to share when I get back. Until then....LETS GO STATE!!!

6 Months!

Here we are again...another 3 weeks has passed. I must say that time is flying!! It will be September next week (thank god, I can't wait for fall) and I am 25 weeks right now. I am still feeling really good and have been enjoying this trimester. Louie has been my faithful walking buddy (when it's not too hot out) and life is good.

In case you haven't turned on the TV at all this week the east cost experience an earthquake and we are currently experiencing a hurricane. Crazy weather week! To be honest I thought the earthquake was kinda cool and even more exciting because no one was hurt. I was at work sitting at my desk and I work in a very old building that is being renovated. So I thought it was a construction issue but everyone started to freak out and run down the halls. So we all evacuated the building....after I went to the restroom of course.....and stood outside for a bit and then we were sent home. I figure I may never experience one again so thought it was kinda exciting. Right now it is raining and has been most of the day. Everything should be cleared up by tomorrow afternoon. The brunt of the storm isn't supposed to hit until early tomorrow morning. So we will see what mother nature has in store for us after I wake up.

Anyway I am going to go watch some preseason football with the hubby. Enjoy the pics....I am getting big!

Week 21

Week 23

Week 25

Already August!!

Summer continues to be great for us. Lots of boat trips and friends visiting as well. A few weeks ago I had a couple of my book club friends down to the boat and it was an absolute perfect day! I met most of these ladies 4 years ago and it has been such a blessing having them all in my life. I always look forward to our mostly get togethers and more recently our summer trips. Thanks for so many memoires ladies.

Two weekends ago we had some very special family friends down to the boat. I met Ash about 6 years ago and our friendship has been going strong since. Recently our families met and really hit it off. So now we all share our loves with each other....boating and PSU. The Dunks came down for the weekend and although mother nature threatened rain all weekend it was actually very nice. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Me and Ash enjoying the ride.
Louie enjoying his water time

Connie swimming
The men and their "man" drinks

And last but not least a belly pic. Mike has this "talent" to be able to push his belly out and look a bit prego. So here he is trying to compete with me at week 23. I am still feeling great and really enjoying this trimester.
